HELPFUL HAAN HINT:
While using the Floor
Sanitizer with the Gliding Tray
will not lift all set-in stains
from your carpet, our patented
Ultra-Microfiber pad may be
used to act as a “blotter” for
removing most fresh, wet
spills and stains.
How to use the Glide Attachment for Fresh Stains:
The Glide Attachment can be used to break up fresh
stains on carpeting, rugs, upholstery, pet cushions
and other soft surfaces. Follow the instructions below.
1) With the Glide Attachent on the Floor Sanitizer,
press the ‘STEAM ON/OFF’ button. It takes
approximately 30 seconds for the Floor Sanitizer
to heat up.
2) Place the Floor Sanitizer over the stain and hold it
in place for a few seconds to allow the steam to
penetrate the area of the stain.
3) Push and pull the floor sanitizer slowly across
the area to work the steam into the stain.
4) Carefully remove the Glide Attachment by using
your foot to snap the attachment off the steam
head. The attachment is designed for this easy
‘No Touch’ method of removal. (Fig 11)
5) Place a dry Ultra-Microfiber Pad ‘hook & loop
side up and press the unit onto the pad. Use the
pad to rub the area, simultanously working at the
stain and blotting the moisture from the surface.
6) When you have finished using the unit, turn it ‘OFF’,
place it on the Floor Protector/Resting Mat and
wait until the Floor Sanitizer cools down for
approximately five (5) minutes before removing
the Ultra-Microfiber Pad from the base.
7) Store the SI-35 upright in a protected dry area,
standing it on the Floor Protector/Resting Mat,
or by hanging it by the Storage Hook.

The SI-35 emits steam at
21F to sanitize the area
of use. This means that the
steam head, Ultra-Microfiber
Pads and Gliding Attachment
get very hot during use.
Care should be taken when
using this appliance and
DO NOT touch them during
use except in the approved
manner as outlined in this
manual.
